depends what your looking for if ur looking for slight performance but mostly just the sound go with some shorties and save urself 500 bucks...if your looking for all out performance save up and get the long tube headers..i believe American racing headers are still the only long tubes on the market so they run about 1500

After talking with you last night, you will be disappointed if you don't go with longtubes. Shorties are nice because they are cheap, but they don't even belong in the same category with longtubes when it comes to performance.

Cheapest long tube out there that will fit with slight modification.

Long tubes all the way. I just installed some long tubes on my old truck, a 79 w-200. You won't be disappointed.
