High flow cats?

In all honesty, without replacing the stock manifolds, upgrading to high flow cats is going to show very minimal gains. The factory cats are actually very efficient.

I was thinking the same thing which I would have recommended but I don't have one I have just read that everyone who is interested in a magnaflow always get talked into the 14in

I agree. The 18" is too quiet IMO, especially if you keep the resonators. Only reason I would go bigger than 14" on the muffler is if I had a cutout in front of it.

i would love to go louder but the ol-lady doesnt want any noise, i was actually thinking about going 24" but ive herd that the y-pipe makes the exhaust a little quieter.

how does a 24" with no resinators sound? i wanted to do bigger longer tips too.

That is where the cutout comes into play. When the wife isnt in the truck, open the cuotut and scare off all the neighbors kids. When the wife is riding with you, close it up, and you now have a quiet stock exhaust.
