How do you know that you would not have run faster with 3.92's, longtubes, a better intake, and an open single exhaust? You put up a great time, but that proves nothing about how the truck would have run with those other parts.

Not putting down your setup, but I'm curious where you are getting your facts from?

he is saying that those mods arent as much bang for buck on 8 spds. Sure the mods will help but they arent needed to achieve the same results as 6 spds.

Jay, no point in hearing my take on why the other parts are better because your mind has been made up. I guess we will just have to see how Henry's truck runs in a few weeks with the longtubes installed. Let the timeslips do the talking.

Bro, it's not always about being getting the cheapest, or best bang for the buck. If that was the case than my truck/mods are a total fail... lol!

Wow, great job, nice to know you don't have to install a cam or converter to get those times, I just can't see my engine and tranny being broke down.
