How many miles on your 4th gen, & what repairs, if any?

Im just wondering how our Rams will hold up. For example, my son has a 2010 GMC with 106,000 miles and never had it in the shop for anything. My last F150 has 132,000, and I only changed a waterpump and front wheel bearings...

My 2015 Ram only has 3800 miles on it but so far it is flawless....as i would certainly expect.

Anyway, how about listing yor year, miles, and total repairs ...... :favorites13:

My old truck- no issues until 150k miles- radiator leak- I replaced the water pump and the thermostat with it. no other issues.
the new one- well- just drove 3000 miles in 2 month- nothing so far.

14,619 miles as of this posting. Cruise control has gone out and since been replaced. My biggest issue is my CEL has been coming on since Oct 2015. The code comes back as P0456 which is a small evap leak. The dealer has looked at it 4 times and as of last week replaced the leak detection pump.

As of today the CEL has come back on and I am getting the same code (P0456). So it leads me to believe that the dealer did not fix the issue or they are incompetent. I just got off the phone with Ram Customer Care, my case is being sent over to a case manager and I should hear back in 1-2 business days lol. I am going by GMC on my way home to look at Sierras, I'm done with FCA.

I can't remember if I posted or not but here goes

96k (yeah I know high miles

1. Ring and pinion failure - complete rebuild covered by Recall.
2. Front caliper piston cracked, cause unknown.. fixed after 2 sets of
powerstop calipers
3. Lifter Failure - All lifters/cam replace engine refinished all the way down to
the short block - all covered under warranty
4. Transmission 4th gear failure - Covered under warranty gets replace next
wed.
5. ABS system fault - Actual problem unknown... Guessing its due to worn
wheel bearings but not sure not sure when I'll install those

By The time I'm done with my warranty everything major will have been replaced or refurbished except the short block.

My 2012 has 27,200 miles. No problems at all. Other than the check engine light. Due to my long tubes. That will be remedied as soon as I can sell my Bullydog and buy a Trinity w/ Hemifever.

2010 1500 Big Horn 38k miles

Pinion nut recall - fixed then the pinion baring was going out. So they rebuilt my rear for 200.00

Ac recall - fixed

Rack and Pinion leaked. Was replaced under warranty

I bought it new in Dec 2009. I had it lifted a week after I bought it.

2013 BigHorn, 18700 miles

- Cab was put on crooked, fixed under warranty
- Trailer brake menu wasn't available, dealer flashed under warranty
- Pump seal on 65RFE started leaking, fixed under warranty
- ESC/ABS Module recall
- Driver airbag recall
- Side airbag recall

Other than that its been a great truck

24,000 miles on my 2014 Hemi 5.7 w/8 speed. CC.

One minor issue. The black plastic molding on the roof was not bonded very well and came partially loose. Also had some recalls that the dealer took care of without issue. Great truck for long trips.
