You can out any kind of Def in it but make sure it is fresh if bought at a store.

I do not have a diesel, but out of curiosity how do you know it's fresh and when is it too old to put into a vehicle.

The Def should be clear and not milky whatsoever, that is why when you buy it from a store it is in a clear container.

Don't know where you live, but a couple of things about def, it freezes at 12 degrees f. It has a shelf life of about 2 years before it starts degrading, depending on how its stored and temperature. Also, don't add anything to it what so ever. Leave it as is.
