He's got a 4th Gen. PCV dumps straight into the intake manifold just after the throttle body. Crankcase vent/make-up is piped to the OEM airbox pre-filter. Could be that is where some oil is coming from, but not a PCV thang per se.


If you cut off flow through the pcv valve your blowby gets pushed out the make up air line. Blowing oil all over your air filter and the gases get sucked back into your intake.

Its not suppose to do that bcuz your pcv system is not suppose to be dicked. PCV valve replacements should be part of regular maintenance.
