Just curious for us guys that are lifted and running 35" or bigger tires and guys that aren't lifted but are running a 35" tire what gear ratio you are running. Also how does your truck perform with that gear ratio and have you had any issues.

I'm running a 4" with 35s with the 3.21 gears and have no complaints at all.

Leveled, 35s, 3.55 gears, 6 speed. Little sluggish up to like 20 mph, anything after that she still hauls

I crawled under the truck and looked at the rear end on the drivers side. They was a tag that said 3.21. You can also go to ramtrucks.com and put your vin# and get your build sheet and it will tell you

4" lift with 3.92's & 35's, great combo! MPG's tracked on Fuelly.

Around town is pretty consistent around 13.3 mpg. My "around town" includes VERY short trips in the morning to drop kids off, less than a mile round trip so I don't even shut the truck off when I take them in. When I head into the office and commute my MPG's go up significantly since she actually gets to cruise a bit.

All HWY is between 16-17 depending where I'm headed.

All in all, very happy with what I've got. It's lifted, looks just how I want, still hauls a$$ when I put the pedal down, and will return respectable MPG's if you show just a little restraint.

4" 35's with 3:55's and six speed. Drives fine. 3:92 would be better though. If I keep it around 70mph I get about 16mpg. I do a mix of driving. Average city/highway is about 13 now. But I been letting it run for 10 or 15 every morning and after work

How in the hell are you getting 16-17 at hwy speeds? What speed do you set cruise on and it must be flat?

I wish I had 3.92 over the 3.21 with the 8 speed. I can deal with the 3.21 as long as it doesn't put a lot of strain on my tranny and motor over time and make them fail early. I still have to get use to the low of a gear. It seems from what I read that as long as I have the 8 speed tranny the 3.21 are perfect for 35" tires and 6" lift. Hopefully it holds true

I'm sure my tune has something to do with it.......

I usually drive between 78-83 mph (when the limit is 70) and that seems to be the sweet spot which is usually just a smidge over 2k on the tach. I do know I get slightly better mileage than if I slow down to 65-70 as the rpm' drop just enough the engine "loads" more. My numbers are legit, all hand calculated and tracked on Fuelly.

I am talking about straight HWY, long trip driving. As soon as I get off the interstate and hit stop an go traffic the MPG's fall quickly.

Oh ya, to be transparent and all I do have "skinny" or "smaller" 35's. I anticipate my numbers going down with my next set as I'm eyeing 295's

And I NEVER use cruise, MPG's are worse when using it
