Just like the title says and please list your mileage and ANY issues besides regular maintenance items and what the fix was...

2016 Ram 1500 Big Horn CC 4x4, 24564 miles

Occasional cold start tick for a second or two, rare but occaisonal tailgate open by itself when unlocking doors, wiper water jets clogged, and annoying brake grinding right before coming to a complete stop, and then right at releasing from stop.

Right now I'm just living with these small issues but will soon fix the stupid clogged water jets...

2015 Ram 1500 CC sport 8k miles.

Had both projector headlights replaced due to the OEM black shroud bubbling

Had both fog lights replaced due to an annoying vibration of light over bumps

Right now I'm experiencing a cold start rattle. Most likely due to the exhaust manifold broken bolts. Haven't had it in for repair yet.

Everything is still under warranty for another year and a half. So hopefully any other issues happen sooner than later.

Love my truck but annoyed what's happening with the 8.4's right now (all updating to FW 17.... And FCA removing media apps and the fact that we won't be able to upgrade to Android Auto/Apple Carplay).

2017 Ram 1500 - 11+ k miles

Start up tick for 1-2 seconds.

Weather stripping between cab and bed will rub your paint off the cab.

Putting the gas nozzle in to fuel your truck will scratch the paint if it has an advertisement on the handle.

Rear driveline vibration.

Cannot turn the radio off.

No transmission dipstick on the 8 speed.

When cruise control is active you cannot read how many miles are on the truck.

Only 4 presets on radio unless you hit All then you lose song artists and song names.

Rubber seal for checking rear differential fluid instead of a bolt.

Brakes make a lot of noise when releasing the pedal.

I'll add more when they come to me.

Embarrassing problems I have caused all by myself (and hopefully learned from). Recently discovered there is a good reason to read instructions BEFORE installation instead of after----your never to old to learn dddduuuuhhh :naughty:

2016 CC Sport Hemi 5.7 25,500 miles. The odd lifter tick on start up for 2 seconds at most (maybe 10 times in the past year) tailgate started falling about 6 months ago but recently hasn't in past 3 weeks (never have time to get into dealership) thinking about just leaving it now as it worked itself out? Have lifetime MaxCare so should be okay if ever becomes a bigger issue again.
That's really it! What a great freaking truck! Still blows my mind that I have a "lifetime" warranty on this truck. Only sad part is I keep it totally stock as to never have possible issues with my warranty. But what a great peace of mind to have. I still look at the GMC/Chev I almost bought but definitely no regrets! Well, except if I did it over again I'd have the Rambox. Don't see many but I have Rambox envy

Yep, I gotta say even with the few things that bug me, (and I had a few with my 2012 5.7 Tundra too), I have never looked forward to driving a vehicle as much as I do this truck every day. I still find myself coming outside just to look at it even....

So Jay I take it then sir that you're a little too embarrassed to admit what you did? I'm only pokin ya on this cuz you never know, it might just save somebody else the same grief, like when I tried putting my hood decals on my own way instead of the recommended way and destroyed them! Oh and you got me curious as hell too!!:naughty:

2016 quad cab, 5.7 31k miles. Have only done mods and maintenance.

Only repair was from a tree branch falling and shattering the windshield.

Only two annoyances. First is the occasional hard downshift into first gear while coming to a stop, but doesn't bug me that much.
Second is the auto up windows will sometimes retract when driving on bumpy roads. I know it's a safety feature, but seems a bit sensitive.

Absolutely love the truck, but regret taking on another vehicle payment.

2016 1500 Sport Crew Cab ~23-25000 KMs
- Occasional cold start tick for a second or two (Dealer can't find cause)
- Tailgate open by itself when unlocking doors (Fixed under warranty)
- LED map light burnt out (Dealer swapped out whole unit under warranty as you can't just swap bulb)
- LCA clunking (replaced under warranty)
- Rubber seal around driver door had an issue and just looked unpresentable (I assume issue from factory, dealer replaced)
- Rubber between bed and truck rubs on one side (complained to dealer who sent case to FCA, never heard bacl.. I just vut it back with a knife) Looking into it more, seems like a very common occurance on new rams, almost everyone on lot had same issue.
- weird rattle noise from driver door, I can't identify it.. can only hear it with radio off... (haven't spoken to dealer about it)

- first truck, so i'm not sure if this is normal or an issue.. sometimes after shifting into D or R... almost feels like a clunk on slow acceleration.. (Brakes or Transmission?)

OK OK OK
1. Never pry interior trim pieces with a screwdriver---they make special tools for that for a good reason--and new pieces ain't cheap.
2. Never change your own oil and try to drain 7 quarts of oil into a 5 quart container
3. Never start to wash your truck if it's leveled and you can't see the top, to check to see if the sunroof is open

Someone said "confession is good for the soul"---not true when talking about our truck "mistakes". Thank God I can always fall back on being and old fart!

2016 Express 4x4. 35,*** miles.

Start up tick for a few seconds.

Just recently, cruise control button doesn't always want to turn on. Got to bring it into dealership before my "3 year"(14 months) 36,000 mile warranty is up.

Hi RAMVT,

For the cruise control concern, you can mention STAR case #S1508000480 to your dealership. It may help--it checks for quite a few different DTCs as the possible cause.

Please reach out if we can provide any follow up--just send a PM with your VIN.
