Right now I'm I'm running true dual 2 1/4 pipe from cats back with an x pipe no mufflers at all so when I go with my headers will I be better to keep cats or catless and add mufflers or catless and no mufflers also I'm not worried bout it being loud as that's what I run on my tundra that used to be my daily driver.

Going without cats will make more power, but it is very loud, smells like gas all the time, will require custom tuning to disable the CEL you will get, and can make it tough to pass your state inspection. Having said all that, I run without cats on the truck I race because the extra power is worth the negatives IMO.

Yeah I'm used to that like I said I run no cats and straights on my 5.7 tundra so the smells and being loud I'm used to lol

does anyone hae dyno results on a catted to non catted truck?

Reason i ask this myth has been busted many time prior that usually the difference is neogitiable. a couple HP here and there. For a non race truck, I would run good high flow cats.

I dont like the dyno, but there are many guys that have dropped a full tenth in the 1/4 by removing their cats. That is going from stock cats to no cats though. The difference would be less if comparing to a high flow cat.

Yah i should preface by saying High flow cats. The difference from Highflow/Non i don't think would be significant on a daily driven truck
