Does anyone have a picture of where they dented their header to clear the steering shaft some or atleast a good enough one in the truck? I'd like to dent it before they get ceramic coated so I don't damage the new powder coating. Thanks!

You shouldn't have to dent it. A lot of people don't need to.

If you have to dent them then you got the wrong headers....you will also effect the flow rate of them if dented. I run ARH and they bolt right up...only thing needed to adjust was the oil dipstick...I recommend double checking your headers and part number for your truck. Good luck...
Also I had mine ceramic coated, defiantly recommend it...mine were done in silver but they can do any colors.

First off denting a header a tiny bit doesn't affect anything. specially **** ones like the JBA's.

And Yes some of us had to dent them since they dont clear the steering shaft. The other option is to unbolt the engine from the mounts and shift it but that's an even bigger PITA.

Yeah I agree^ denting them just a bit so they don't rub won't affect the flow rate if any at all. I've read and talked to enough people that I'd rather sent them now rather than later when they just got ceramic coated.

So does anyone have any pics?

Proof that bashing your headers doesn't effect the flow or power output.

I guess I was wrong...I apologize...just not sure why the JBAs would need to be modified if there designed for the truck. I do believe the stainless works as well as ARH bolt right up with plenty of room around the steering column.:superhack:

I dented them just enough to have a bend in that area. We'll see how they fit on installation day
