I have a 2014 1500 with the 5.7. I've bought a lift kit and I've bought the tires. I have underglow on it and I've even spiced up the inside with interior lights. I did a simple muffler swap to a flowmaster super 44. Its definitely not loud but it sounds okay. Now it's time to get something louder. But I'm on a budget. I probably can't afford a new system. But I could work with a muffler or something relatively not expensive. Throw some ideas at me please. Preferably very loud and aggressive.

Just remember, a lot of places have noise ordnances. You give probable cause to stop you when you are obviously in violation--and Mr. Bear can hear you a long way off if you are.

There is A$$hole loud and then there is I got a d@mn Hemi loud. One turns heads, the other turns on cop lights--you decide.

I just learned that here in cali per VC 27150 we cannot take off the muffler on any registered vehicle :flipthebird: california.

But if you like your flowmaster sound already, just upgrade to a Super 10, single in dual out if your equipped with that set up..... Its about $80 at summit and a muffler shop will prob charge about $100 (thats a guess) to install it with a short piece of exhaust to make up the length difference.

I have a super 10 single in dual out and currently dumped at the axle... its loud.... and I love it... I still liked all the way out the rear better but it is louder with the dump at axle

I'd go with either black widow widowmaker or race venom, pypes m80, super 10, or dynomax race bullet.

This is as loud as you can get it. I did this and removed the resonators also and it was wake the dead loud. After 2 years I put a spintech 9000 and love it.
And it definatlly is the cheapest. I used a Y pipe instead of a straight pipe.

I just got the Progressive Series without resonators. I used to have a 50 series Flowmaster also without resonators. I'd say the Flowmaster was louder even. This set up might be too quite for me... but I already returned a Competitor Series for this one. Hope it helps!

I have the spintech super pro street 9000, I like it a lot. It's pretty raspy and it's definitely loud. It's only about $100

Here is the Carven Progressive Series installed on my 2017 Sport. I installed it two days ago and love it!
