could it be a leak somewhere around it? or do they all do this when u get to about 4000 RPM then let off the gas? just curious

It does it on my Rangers intake as well. AEM Brute Force. You can check the hose clamps and make sure they're tight, but you'll always have some kind of a whistle from it.

Whistle? Mine doesnt have a whistle....then again i run with my cutouts open, lol.......

It's suppose to whistle. When you don't hear the whistle anymore, that's when you know you need to clean the filter.

Actually when you hear a whistle it means your not getting enough exhaust out
It doesn't hurt anything though
