Hey all, I am shopping for gears for my 2wd RCSB Express.

Looking on Moe's website, it say's their brand of 4.56 gears are "These gears are double drilled to fit all 2002-2016 Ram 1500 trucks with the 9.25" or 9.25" ZF rear axle."

Can anyone confirm for me if that is direct fit, or does the housing still need to be trimmed? I did email him but am on a bit of a time constraint and figured this might be useful info for others as well.

Thanks!

double drilled means that the gears will bolt onto either carrier. im not 100% positive on the zf axles, but i know in a lot of cases on the older 9.25, the housing did need to be trimmed down a bit for 4.56 's. shouldnt be a big deal for anybody competent with building axles if its needed.
