Moe's Ported TB

Hey Guys,

Picked up a 85mm ported throttle body used from a guy on the forums.

Just curious, should it look any different on the inside than the stock one?

The TB I had for my speed six both sides of the plate were shaved down.

This one looks exactly like the stock, figured I'd ask before I freaked out.

It should look different, you should be able to see the porting marks on the Moe's TB. Here's a picture of the stock one compared to my 87mm ported one. Hope this helps, mines is also a 87mm.

thanks for the photo. So I can't zoom in to much. On the bottom.. the ported one there should be shaving on the bottom of that plate right? And the top photo the porting is on the top... Typically that is how they port TBs. I had one before on my speed6. I'm pretty sure I just bought a stock TB for 200 bucks.. and I have emailed him and sent an email via paypal and it's been 2 days with no response... I just wanted to make sure before I freak out and file a claim in Paypal.

I mean the one I bought looks the same as my stock one... either the previous owner had this already... or I got porked

Post a picture of the inside of the throttle body you have. I can tell you if it is correct or not.

Just run your fingers down the sides. You will feel if it's ported compared to your stock one.

So the joke is on me... turns out the previous owner had a ported TB.. and that is why this one looked exactly like my stock one. All worked out.
