Just wanted to share my experience with the install of these parts.
First I can see why the mopar cai is more expensive than other options out there. That nice little sticker provided that says CARB certified. For those that live in a state like California that requires these approvals to drive legally I think this might be your only option.
Now as far as the CAI goes I'm very pleased. From cracking open the box to finishing the install only took 45 minutes. The airbox itself is significantly bigger and the dry filter is solid
The functional hood scoop leaves a lot to be desired. First there has to be an easier way to get the factory scoop out. The way the directions describe didn't make sense and or they use some type of special tool. Second the aluminum reinforcement bar that attaches to the scoop and the hood is a major pain to get lined up.
This install is probably a lot easier on stock or lowered trucks but on lifted ones it creates a nice challenge with a step stool.
I sourced my parts from Larry Miller Dodge out of Peoria Az. Great guys to deal with! They do have an Amazon account I'm told but I called in.
