Cost around 750 ish. Installed yesterday. Haven't done much driving since so I can't tell on power or fuel consumption but it does sound a lot throatier. Pretty easy install for the most part. After I do some driving I will post some updates

Now that is slick! Any concerns about water getting in during a heavy downpour? (I'm not familiar with the design/routing s why I ask)

Yes I am concerned. But, it is from mopar so I doubt they didn't take water into consideration when they designed it. There aren't many reviews on it since its new. I can tell you there are drain holes in the air box. After some washing and driving in the rain I will give some updates on how it held up.

I'll take some more pics tomorrow. Its the mopar intake which can be ran by itself. But with the hood duct installed and the top of the mopar intake removed they seal when the hood is closed. It only uses the passenger side scoop.

If it's only the passenger side, that doesn't seem like it'll get a lot of airflow.

Not to poo poo on your parade but, and I could be wrong here, but at higher speeds isn't there generally a negative pressure area in the mid front hood area?

I believe in the srt challengers the scoops are functional, but their purpose is to help hot air escape the engine bay, not to bring cool air in. The test I had seen brought down engine bay temp by ~15*. Would be nice to make the sport hood function like that as well. Still interested in seeing the results from this, and wonder how we can make it work for a vararam.?.?.?.?.?

Does this still have an inlet on the side/bottom as well as the opening on the top?

Not unless the newer ones are. They wasn't functional on my dads '10 SRT Challenger when he first got it. But we fixed that with a Cervinis Ram Air duct work kit.

I am right there with you on that thought. For 700 bucks though to make the scoopes functional... WOW. That's alot for an relatively simple mod. I'd think about doing this with the S&B intake though or with the vararam.
