I did some readying before I did my gear swap two weeks ago, and couldn't find much info about the differences. But I figured using the oem gears that are in the R/T, should be my best bet. If there is a hair difference, I don't want to take that chance.
Besides if a warranty issue ever arose, I would like to be able to show that I have oem gears in my truck.

Will you be doing a LSD with your gear swap???

OH GREAT I DIDN'T KNOW THAT.
THAT IS ONE LESS THING I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT AND WASTING ON :pepper:

SO BESIDES 4.10 GEARS WHAT EXACTLY ELSE DO I NEED TO MAKE THIS WORK?

Gear oil. New bearings x3. Mini install kit from Moes.

Here are good threads about that. They pretty much cover every possible thing:

Gear swaps freak me out. I would rather take the whole rear axle of an OEM setup. Ive been in the front seat of a truck with aftermarket gears when it locked up at 50mph. Not cool. Looked at the rear end afterwards and saw gears poking out of the actual casing. I know a bunch of people do this all the time, but thats their prerogative. :)

Good luck either way. I wish you success!!

Gears and LSD= WON'T NEED LSD AS I ALREADY HAVE

Diff Cover = DO I NEED DIFF COVER CAN I LEAVE MINE ON?

Install Kit = WHAT IF I JUST GO WITH MASTER INSTALL KIT INSTEAD OF THE MINI KIT
\
Bearings = THEY COME IN THE MASTER INSTALL KIT CORRECT?

Royal Purple Gear Oil = $60
