my buddy put a exhaust like this one on our friends 4th gen. it bolted right up to stock duals and it sounded no different than when he pulled up. hope you have betterl uck

Must have had something wrong. I have the same exhaust on my 06' except it was welded. And sounds good, but drones out.

It has to be different. It's a totally different muffler. It's just a glasspack pretty much. Stock muffler is just a clogfest and huge.

I installed it today. Gotta love the difference between the OEM and the new. Sounds good too.

Nah. They are so small it's not going to really make any different. It will just make it more raspy which makes it sound more ricey. I'm also leaving stock tips. Anything larger is not worth it. Not going to gain anything performance wise. Just another rice item lol.

this is the resonator. its under the shield there. Its not going to really make any difference

It definately makes a difference. I know two trucks, including mine, that the sound changed incredibly. The resonator's themselves are designed specifically to reduce exhaust sound.

I'd have to hear one in person not video to really hear the difference. They are so small. My car had one that look just like a standard sized muffler that went along with the huge muffler it had on it. That made a big difference when I cut it off. Raspy as hell. I just put a glasspack in it's place along with a magnaflow in replace of the oem muffler and for a midsized V6 it sounded nice and mellow and was loud.
