I have about 9k miles on my truck. I was waiting to get on the freeway today at a light and my truck was idling up the slight incline. I noticed that the truck was not rolling smoothly. It was like a jerky feel. My foot was completely off the break though. Is that normal?

Sounds like your torque converter was battling the transmission. One said slip, one said go.

Were you at a stop or close or were you already moving? Hill assist is sweet and works great but if you are not stopped it does not engage. I agree it was probably a torque converter issue. I have 41k on mine and I am taking it to get checked the TC is fighting me all the time even when I let off the gas on flat road it clangs and bangs.
