Dumb question. I changed my oil at 3000 than at 9000 miles. Now at 11235 miles my info says oil change due. How do i remove it? It never came on before because i changed oil before i was suppose to. Now Idk how to remove it. I change my own oil i don't spend 45 bucks at the dealership to do it. Any help please

I don't know if it's the same for 4th gens, but on the 3rd gens, turn the key to the on position, press the gas pedal 3 times within 10 seconds then turn the key to the off positon.

Your welcome. I'm thinking it's the same, just not 100% positive.

Just curious why you did your first oil change at 3K then went another 6K before another change?

Cause i didnt put original oil in it so i don't trust it. It got changed out like a normal oil change. Than i ran extended life oil and filter now so i let it go to 6k. Im picky about my vehicles. I don't trust anyone's work but my own.
