Just ordered my BT OCC in orange from Moe's . Thanks for the informative posts guys! My truck currently has 4,100 miles on it. I'll be sure to post dump photos in the future.

Sounds about right to me as well , I seem to get about twice that , but most get about what you are getting . Either way it's oil that did not get in your intake plenum !

Attempted to install a BT OCC on the wife's New Challenger RT Plus with the 5.7L Hemi with less than 300 miles on the odometer .

Dumped the occ on the Ram today . About 1.5 oz in 1k miles . Done some towing the last few weeks with oil temps up to 217°
So I figured I'd check it out .

Dumped the can today. This one had a mix of driving and towing the utility trailer for about 300 miles. I estimate I'm safe till about 3000 miles before dumps are needed.

Just installed my BT catch can today. Thanks Moe's . I'll be sure to post dump photos. Sorry for the sideways pic. Don't know how to fix that lol

So here is a photo of the oil collected after 150 miles of driving. I was surprised at the amount of oil in there already . Odometer read 5234 at the time of installation. I'm glad I didn't wait any longer . I guess these things do work. I'll post how many miles of driving it takes to actually fill the entire catch can.

They do work this is what I've collected in only about 18,000 miles , wish I would've started sooner !

I am at roughly 55k miles. I do a fair amount of driving mixed and some 1500+ mile trips every few months. I am going to be installing a catch can after reading this. Question is, is there a safe method to clean the intake track before hand without removing intake and heads?

Emptied my catch can today after about 2000 miles and found this

Wow ! That's wierd ?

Step one install new PCV
Step 2 Replace air filter and clean the air box .
