Yeah I'm pretty sure those kind of places use bulk and maybe recycled oil. I'd much rather spend the $60/70 bucks and do it myself then have that stuff inside any of my vehicles even if it was free.

I'm just **** and prefer to know what's in my engine and who is working on my vehicle though.

Right now m1 is 26.99 a case at costco, add a Royal Purple filter at another 13 bucks, plus two extra qrts of m1 another 4 bucks each if you get two cases at costco. That's 50 dollars if you change it yourself, as opposed to whatever they will up charge your hemi, I bet it will almost be equal in price. But, you will have much better oil and filter combo.

Last time I called my dealer with a coupon like that, the upcharge for the hemi was so ridiculous I told the guy I had bought my last vehicle from their dealership. Let us know the upcharge.

As long as its oil that meets Ram requirements does it really matter if it comes in a quart container or a big drum??

Among other things , cam failure , lifter failure and excessive ferous metals in the oil .
All of which are to common with the Hemi engines of late .

Assuming an oil in the 55 gallon container meets the quality you desire is a gamble. I would never assume anything but if given a choice, a dealer would simply get the cheapest barrel possible. Many off brands are unsafe per PQIA.

Dealer oil is not Factory fill necessarily, don't get confused by that. It may be that a dealer is required to have something, but I would need proof of that before just trusting what some ******* tells me. Especially when they are having 19 dollar or less oil change. Did you catch that? or less, lol.
