Oil Cooler - Anyone Install One?

I too have seen pretty high oil temps while towing my camper. Not quite that high tho. That was almost a year ago, and since then I have ran Amsoil, and now have a cold thermostat. My oil temps just driving never exceed my coolant temp now. I have not towed with the 180 degree TS, but I'm assuming the oil would be close to coolant temps even towing. You might try a cold TS and see if that helps first to save a couple hundred bucks.

what about a deeper oil pan...im not sure if they even make them for our trucks but that would also help keep the temps down

installed a mishimoto cooler w/ fan. running 174 to 183 in 95-100 Louisiana heat. 172-174 hwy/ 183 tops city. But i did install 180 tstat. first.
