So I installed my catch can on my truck THE DAY I picked it up. I actually ordered the catch can before I picked up my truck lol. I installed it at 12,390 miles and so far the catch can is doing a fantastic job. My only concern ( and this is me being extremely ****) is how much oil got dumped into it for 12,000 miles? Is their a way to clean up what might have gotten caked inside the intake even if it is an almost unmeasurable amount? I plan on taking off the throttle body and cleaning it.

Any thoughts or things to look out for while cleaning either the intake or TB?

Do not use TB cleaner to clean your TB. Counter intuitive, but use brake cleaner to avoid shorting it out.

I was just looking for something along these lines last night. I plan on putting a catch on my truck here soon, but I pulled the factory air box/air hat and blew everything out and while inspecting I noticed that my MAFS had oil residue on it. I sprayed it down with CRC and the flex hose/air hat and got everything clean and back together. I took it down the road and had a huge difference in throttle response and gas mileage, I don't know where all the oil residue came from, but I'm looking at just putting a stand alone filter in the vacuum line going to the filter box - maybe that will help.

Second that with the Seafoam. I use that on everything. My lawnmower, trimmer, truck, car, and street bike.

Nope.
Disconnect PCV hose from CC on the side closest to the intake manifold.
Reduce that PCV hose down to about 1/8 inch.
(I use sections of smaller hose to reduce it down to windshield washer fluid hose.)
Have assistant maintain 2-3k rpm while you dip the end of the 1/8 hose in and out of a full can of seafoam until its empty.
Remove reducers and reconnect PCV hose to CC.

Ahh ok. That seems simple enough.
