Part Number??

Does anyone happen to know the part number or numbers for the Front and Rear transmission seals for a 2012 SCSB 5.7 Ram R/T??

I am switching out my TQ converter and need to replace them when I do.

Im not having much luck searching, and I dont really know the sites to go to to look.

Are they leaking? I've have had pretty good luck not damaging seals on transmissions when pulling them down. Now the t-case on a 4x4 thats a different story seemed like everyone of them I had in the shop the seals were shot.

The front has had a slow drip for a while. Maybe a drop a week.

I would replace them both regardless if there was a leak or not. I ALWAYS replace seals, gaskets, and anything else of that nature when disassembling and reassembling mechanical/automotive parts. Keeps things from leaking after. There are exceptions, but this is not one of them for me.

Yeah, I hear you on the 4x4. Lets just say im glad I drive a 2wd. :gr_grin:

I am not sure on the part# either, but that is something that the dealership should have on hand. I'm sure it would only take them a few minutes to look these up for you. Also, I just saw that I had a text from you the other day. Converter is going to take about 2 qts.

Believe it or not, the only three dealerships ive called havent had them. I guess i can just hope they order the right part. Ha!

I woulda thought they had them as well. I guess not. :boxed:

That is kinda odd considering seals are small and cheap to have in stock.
