Hello to all of my fellow Ram owners. This review as stated will be solely my thoughts on the install and performance of the Commander.

First let me preface by saying this isn't for everyone due to the cost. My thoughts from driving my Tam for the last several years was having an 8 cylinder is a blast once up to speed, getting there was my issue. The gas pedal seemed to be at war with me. To me it wasn't very responsive, nor did it instill confidence in me when attempting to ramp up onto the freeway. I know that there are several tuners out there that would easily get me where I felt it should be.

That I did not want to deal with as my only negative feeling was solely that gas pedal. So I looked online and saw several listings for things that would improve my acceleration all around. Great except that if it's too true to believe, well you know the rest. Finally I just said I'm going for it and placed the order. The box comes well packed, has all that you need for a seamless install and the directions are to the point.

Well enough of my chatter and let me get to the point, WOW is all that I can say. I set mine to Sport (0) and slowly pressed the pedal and was thrust back into my seat with the wheels chirping. Wait what was that, I thought maybe I was on a sandy stretch of road so I'm like let me give it a true test. Took it on back roads, highway, and a little off-roading. I have to say that in my opinion I give this (2) thumbs up as far as doing what's needed.

Now for my needs the " Sport " is perfect, you may install this and say " what a wimp " Sport mode wise. Well the great part is that you can tailor this to your own needs and wants. Again let me clarify I am not sponsored by the makers of this, nor did I receive any discount for writing this. In fact I actually wasn't going to write this as buying this will cause kook aid grins followed by the feeling of Nirvana lol.

If you have any questions, please feel free and again I'm not a writer, I'm just a Ram owner who's trying to be there for the community.

That's great! I'm still liking my Booster. Definitely a little more fun to drive with them installed!

Well cancel the one for my Legacy as sadly it's turbocharged with a six speed and that they don't make one for. :(

Well that's true as the black one is a 4.7 V8 that needs help. It's loud and really loud, but slow.

My other truck(Dakota) has a 4.7 . It's not too bad but lovin my hemi. I'd have a Booster on that if I didn't have a Superchips on it.

Darkness, what year is your 4.7? I have an 08 4.7, and can't stand the pedal. When going up hills, I have to keep mashing the pedal. Very interested to hear how this works on your 4.7.

Great write up. I'm getting one now. I've always felt that these motors have the torque needed for a sporty ride, but pedal dosent seem to be near as sensitive as other vehicles. Damnit Drkness your costing me money!

Drkness, how does the pedal commander affect the cruise control? Is the cruise still gradual and smooth?
