Well just received my 2015 ram 1500 5.7 pcm and t1000 back from ds.

Tried to load tune about 15 times no luck.

Door opened
Door closed
87 canned
91 canned
Modified and no modified (tire size and mds)
Take key out when it says turn off ,etc

Diablo has been no help. Make your wait 5 minutes while they are talking to "engineers"

Keep getting tune cannot be installed- pcm error(-1)

Did you update your the programmer before you loaded it in the vehicle

Try it with a battery charger on the truck. Had a similar issue in a Ford with SCT and the battery voltage was lower than the SCT liked.

Did you install the new unlocked PCM first before trying to load the tune? And if so, did you try starting the truck with the new unlocked PCM before loading the tune. I'm willing to bet the VIN# on the PCM is wrong which is why it cannot recognize the vehicle.

I had similar issues. Took a while to figure it out, but when the screen says "turn the key off" (or something like that), I needed to open the door and wait for the screen to go dark - about 10 seconds or so before continuing.

Did my 2015 a while back, right after the new PCM's came out. Had no problems with the install. Hope you get it figured it. It's a night and day difference when you do.

Its rare. The OP has not responded since, but I can almost guarantee that his isnt working because of an incorrect VIN# programmed into the PCM.

I have had 1 older InTune DCX model that quit working on my back when I had my 2011 crew cab. I changed tunes many times in that truck to test new things for Hemifever, and 1 day it just stopped recognizing my VIN#. Diablo replaced it for me under warranty, and I never had any more trouble with it.

I currently have an InTune DCX in my wife's Jeep, Trinity tuners in both of my regular cabs, and an i2 in my 2015 crew cab.

Sorry for the delay in my response,

Looks like it was a battery issue, I unhooked HIDS, ALL MY LEDS, and AMP POWERSTEPS, and charged my battery using my powerpack.

I just installed the HEMI TUNE 91 OCT, sean has been solid.

Its running way smoother at hwy and acceleration is much improved. I need to add a few more tanks of 93 OCT and run some more logs for Sean.

I may add a 180-TSTAT- any thoughts? I am running alil higher than normal. 206-208 F at 45 F out.

Glad you got it working. Yeah Sean's tuning is a night and day difference over stock.

Anyone ever get hard shutter in shifting when doing a 0-60? Its either 2-3 or 3-4th. It almost is like a very hard shift forward. Running 93 shell with 91 hemi tune
