I'm really not trying to complain about mileage after all I do own a truck. However I just bought this 2011 5.7 liter filled it up the second time and I am getting 13.4 miles per gallon just like the evic says on the dashboard (what I thought was wrong) but C'Mon 13.4 miles per gallon my old 99 Chevy that I traded in got about 14 or 15 miles per gallon, my 05 Dodge Magnum has the same Hemi engine and gets over 19 usually 21 miles per gallon. So I do think something is wrong? What mpg do you get?

I used to average 17 in the winter and 19-20 in the summer (hand calculated) on my 2014 Sport. I now have a 2016 Rebel with about 600 miles on it and my EVIC is only showing 15-16. I'm afraid to hand calculate it...lol.

My 3500 dually gets 18/22 but that's with a Cummins. My old 2012 1500 qc got 17/20. Do you have the factory sized tires or mods on yours?

2014, 5.7L Hemi, Crew Cab, 4x4, stock. I do have the 8-speed transmission, 3.21 gears, and active shutters so my truck has some fuel mileage upgrades over yours. I purchased in early October 2016, so my time is limited. My total daily commute is about 57 miles with ~38 miles of it highway. I do run errands on the weekends in the city, especially since my wife really likes riding in the truck.
My EVIC averages around 19.5 mpg.
My Fuelio app says my average is 18.043 mpg, but it's artificially inflated and will continue to drop. I expect it to settle somewhere around 17.5mpg. Out of 8 fill ups, my best tank was 19.25 mpg and 5 of them were between 17.0-17.9 mpg.

Edit:
I have no idea if I'm low or not. It does feel like I should be doing a little better. My EVIC consistently reads 1.5 - 2 mpg higher than I'm actually getting. Something seems a little off, but not too crazy.

considering its a used truck, id start by giving it a tune up if you havent done so already. might help.

aside from that, its winter. 13-14 mpgs sounds about right to me.

That's about where I'm sitting right now. I'll get about 2mpg better in the summer. Good average on the highway in the summer is 17-18. I've got over 20 before. City sucks big time. Probably 10-11 this time of year. Takes a lot of gas to get a 6000 lb truck moving.

If it makes you feel any better, I average 11.5, 6 inch lift, and 35 inch tires though... but still, 11.5 is on the very very high side. I average much lower in the city :(

You're driving a near 400 hp brick. Mine gets 13/17 with the level kit and bigger tires.

Wow, I was complaining about 14 average with my 2500 (same size lift and tires). I had a Cummins in that also.

Any record of the spark plugs being changed? Do not pull one out and judge it by sight. They They should be done every 30-40,000 miles for your year. When I did mine, it not only increased my mpg, but it regained the power that slowly disappeared.
