Post up your avg. Xsmn temps

Hello all , I'd like to start a thread on posting up your avg transmission temperatures.

Please post what xsmn to have ie .. 6 speed or 8 speed and your year model and approximate milage .

Thanks ! I'll start

2014 Ram 1500 4x4 QC
65RFE 6 speed xsmn
49,000 miles

Winter = struggles to get to 125°

Summer = 130 -140°

Towing = highest I've seen was 155° while towing 7k lbs in 80° temp

Winter = 170-180° after a decent drive.

Summer = 175 -180° after aux trans cooler install. Would typically be 175 - 188'ish before cooler install.

Towing = Would go over 200° when climbing minimal grades before cooler install. Highest I saw on my last trip after cooler install was approx 195° and it returned to 180° very quickly.

Is it just me or does that seem hot for a 6 speed?

Towing: Highest its ever got to was 160° while towing around 5000lbs in 80°+

Yep seems terribly high , he is the reason I started this thread .

His #s are exactly in line with the 8 speed .? ?

I bet my temps will match those posted once I remove the TBV.

Here's a picture of my shifter. Please note distinct lack of dial and clear presence of stick and knob. Not pictured....knob taking picture

I would think so , but I can't be 100 % sure , either way I'd be changing your fluid !

2016 1500 5.7 8 speed 2800 miles

Only checked it a couple of times and it hovers in the mid 180's.

Next month I'm doing a 13 hour drive FL to Pittsburgh, I'll check it periodically and update the post.

Same but when towing 8,000lbs with ATF+4 and stock pan and a hot summer day i was reaching mid 180's.

But with Redline C+ and an PML deep pan. towing my
Temps have not broke 177 yet.

Edit: and i had stock tires with the ATF+4 and went up to 35" when towing with the redline C+ and deep pan. So there was even more working against it then. But my non-towing temps never changed.

2016 4x4 8spd Hemi

Average is mid 170s. I've seen as high as 185 or so in our 100+ degree heat. Haven't had the truck long enough to see what it is in the winter.

2013 1500 SLT QC 4x4
Dropped gf at airport (going on a polar bear tour in Kaktovic, AK while I "get" to go to work) and headed to work. About 25 minutes altogether with about 65-70% hwy
This is at idle while getting coffee but at speed was about the same except pressure was about 52
