So it was my way to change a gears to 4.56
As there is nothing special about rear axle(differential+gears+master rebuild kit),
will give you several pictures of front axle install
As you might know it is a headache with install of 2010 front axle(Chrysler 8" IFS) in later models due to different brackets.

So first of all you need that bracket from 2010
597eaes-960.jpg
As you might see those are completely different with different angles for the front axle

You need to cut off the small corner of the back lower part to avoid contact with aluminium pipes
b657eaes-960.jpg

I ordered a full kit for the front axle relocation from BDS for 2010 to match new bracket.
b4d7eaes-960.jpg

Also ordered a front drive shaft spacer that is also part of 6" lift kit from BDS to match 2010 driveshaft
d1d7eaes-960.jpg

Actuator is absolutely the same, so need only a wire set from BDS lift kit for 2010
5dd7eaes-960.jpg

As for the $$$...
Rear:
Auburn HP Differential $620
Gears $240
Master kit $120
Differential cover Mag Hytec $240
Oil and labor $720
TOTAL $1940

Front:
2010 8" front axle + driveshaft + bracket - $560
G2 Axle & Gear 2-2027-456 G-2 Performance Ring and Pinion Set - $286

But I've decided to make it all new, so decided to change all internals also:
Mopar 5206 9707, Axle Shaft Bearing - $38
Mopar 5211 4384AB, Axle Shaft Bearing - $36
Mopar 5211 4377AC, Axle Shaft Seal - $23
52114382AE Suspension Axle Shaft - $151
52069887AE Shaft Axle Intermedi - $78
52069706AB Rear Axle Shaft Seal - $13
BDS 6'' front relocation brackets set for RAM1500 2010. $260
Oil and labor $720
TOTAL $2165 for the front

So in the end it is around 4K for the swap

I've sold front/rear to friend of mine already. He had 3.21 with 35" twheels, so he is happy with 3.92 now :)

Absolutely happy with it! Truck rides perfect on 37” tires and 4.56 matching my new 6.4 hemi I’ve installed 5 months ago. Now it is quite a fast truck:)) Didn’t had a chance to tow by the way, but I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be a problem if needed

I haven’t seen any noticeable difference compared to 3.92 :) but 6.4 burns a bit more fuel, as I like to open throttle wider:))

Yeah the difference I think depends more on how we drive our trucks regardless of the gears

Northern, no one spends $4K on 4.56s, and then tries to pinch pennies at the pump.

Thanks for posting this info. I'm looking to do the same to my 2014.

Questions on your original post:

What is the BDS relocation bracket for?

Is the driveshaft spacer required?

Is the Auburn HP and better than the factory limited slip in the rear? Whish there was something other than limited slips for the 9.25. A real locker would be nice.

Thanks for the help!

1. BDS relocation bracket, as I was needed to swap 2010 front diff(8in corporate) instead of 8,25in ZF. It is impossible to change gears in ZF IFS axles
2. Drive shaft spacer required. As far as you'll need 2010 front driveshaft(has different flange bolt pattern) you'll need a spacer for 2010 BDS kit
3. No, Auburn isn't better. I broke Auburn once and Yukon diff twice before installed 10.5AAM HD rear axle(from Ram 2500 Power wagon) with factory 4.56 gear and e-locker

2006-2011 front diff will work........get the front driveshaft & brackets
You will also need new stub shafts plus the new brackets if lifted

I got one with less then 30,000 clics on it,no driveshaft or brackets, and you'll have to use your original actuator.Let me check with Brandon-W to see if he still wants it,as he was gonna take it,but now that he's moved up to the Yukon shipping it to him isn't gonna be cheap.Diffs down here in Airdrie,i payed 400 for it,if Brandon doesn't want it,that's what i want out of it

If you're interested in it,let me know,as Brandon figures the shipping on it to the Yukon would bankrupt him .I'd deliver it to either Red Deer or Hanna, both are close to halfway to you.
