Rough idle

I’ve tried to research this, but didn’t see a whole lot.
Does anyone else’s ram idle rough? I have a 2013 5.7

All the Ram's that I have had with the 5.7 have not been the smoothest of idlers compared to some other vehicles I have had. You definitely know the trucks running. With that being said, how many miles are on your truck? Since you have a 2013, the plugs I believe should be changed out in 30k intervals.

If something has changed in the way it idles lately I would start with swapping the plugs out for new NGK/Mopar plugs and go from there. At the very least they should be changed.

My 2013 has 103.5k and is glassy-smooth. Other than hearing the Mopar exhaust at idle, I wouldn't know if it was on or off.

I agree with the plugs recommendation.

Some later 13s came with 100000 mile plugs. Check with a dealer. Sometimes all you need is a computer flash.

I took my ‘16 5.7 in for the same thing. Simple computer update fixed the whole problem

My 2014 is not smooth as a caddy by any means. Ive had a lot of Hemis and they all have about the same amount of shake to them. If you came from an import its a huge difference. Id like to sit in anyones truck that says its smooth as I think thats a matter of opinion.
