K&N used to be a quality filter. since production moved to china, the filtering specs has decreased. on bitog there was write up after being taken part. was OK, not worth the premium price though. better filters out there.

Read this entire thread that should tell you what a few of us think of the FU!

I put the quality & efficiency level right there with RP/Amsoil/Wix XP.
It's normally found at a lower price as well.

Taking this filter out of service (before) the 8-10K mile mark is a waste of $$.

Ha. Ok, just confirming. I grab it at Walmart way cheaper than at an auto parts store.

I'm looking at a bunch of oil filters how do I know what to get ?! What can fit for length and what not currently looking at fram extra guards ? Can someone help quick ?

I'm using penzoil oil y'all telling me to go with ultra platinum synthetic but they only come in 0W-30 and 5W-30... Don't we run 5W-20 in our trucks ?
