Are the 5.7's know for running extremely rich? I have noticed my truck usually runs rich but I just got back from vacation and fired up my truck to move it from being gone for a week and wow, while idling down it smelt like raw fuel coming out of the exhaust and never cleared up.
I don't have time this weekend to tear into it to inspect spark plugs, truck is still running fine, seems a little sluggish but doesn't sound weird or anything....
Not sure if I should start throwing 02 sensors at it or what...
Currently I am not running any tunes due to a sensitive transmission.
Anything else anyone can think of to look into other than 02, spark plugs, and fuel injectors? and anyone think I will hurt anything if I cant get to it till next weekend?
