S&B CAI question..??

The S&B comes with an optional removable box plug. My question is, is everyone running with the box plug in or out?

Don't have, but I would run with the plug.

Either my S&B didn't have it or I didn't notice it when I put it in. I do not have a hole that size in the bottom of my S&B.

I didn't follow the written install instructions though...I found a youtube video with exacting instructions...step by step...and followed those.

Where does it draw air from?

I run with mine plugged. That plug allows the box to draw air from inside the engine bay as well. Figure there is no need to pump all that hot air in. It pulls plenty of cool air through the fender well.

Does your model also include connection for an optional lower snorkel intake to reach down to near the bottom of your bumper? If not, perhaps this is a newer design because no one was paying the extra $100 for the snorkel.

This model does not have the "ram air" snorkel. This in instructions say this at the beginning

Looks like you have the new updated S&B intake. There is a video on their website showing the new updated intake improvements. Looks good! Let us know what you think about it. I may be ordering one myself...
