I installed the scoop at the same time as the CAI so I'm not sure.
I figured if it has the ability to add it, why not maximize the benefits??

How was the install? Does it sit flush with the bumper or is it an inch or two higher?

It was a bit finicky getting it into position, but fits well once you do.
I'd say it's about 1.5" higher than the plastic chin under the bumper. It has a very large mouth/opening and the rectangular shaft between the mouth and the airbox is generous; it's a serious opportunity for more cool air to get at the filter & into the engine.
Here's a slightly different angle from when I installed my drain hose for the Moroso can.

Is my truck able to take advantage of the extra air even though it has the factory throttle body?

I think if you plan on changing the throttle body it would be worth it.

That's a really tough question. Honestly, I noticed more of a difference after installing the CAI with scoop on the otherwise stock truck, than I did adding the ported TB afterwards. Can you ever have too much air? Nah. Can you do much else with $99? Nah, but I'm biased.
