those srt8's are quick....and they catch grip al the way because they are awd, but that would be a good race especially with the mods you have.

I could be wrong but I thought the only SRT with AWD is the Grand Cherokee. None of the others have it just RWD or FWD in Caliber and Neon.

How do you know it was a Hemi Charger? Did you know or talk to the guy. It very well could have been a Pentastar. They run 0-60 in 6.7s, and 1/4 mi in 15.3s -- which would be more on par with a Ram. If it was Hemi Charger, he didn't know how to drive.

A '12 Hemi with 5 speed auto runs 0-60 in 5.2, and 1/4 in 13.9. I wouldn't call that slow, and I don't think your Ram could come very close to that.

Power to weight ratio, gearing and final drive will tell you more than just reading the brochure. The hemi ram is a very quick truck for a half ton pickup. A hemi charger is just a yacht on wheels and heavy as hell

Read post #5. They were referring to a SRT-8 Jeep.

Thank you that definitely was not how I read it the first time and I could not figure it out. At one point I suppose there was only one SRT8 but now there is so many it is a confusing term. Especially when topic is Charger vs Ram.

My truck suprises me all the time. Not racing anyone or anything, but just the occasional gabb at the trottle. It rides so smooth that sometimes I don't realize how fast I am going. Not that it really did much for my power or anything but oh my god putting the mufflex 18" kit on it just puts a smile on my face anytime I put the foot in it. Got to think it makes V6 frontier guys like I once was jealous too.

Gotta tell you the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 fastest car I've ever driven by far. I know there are faster ones out there, but I don't care what you say from a dig or a roll, that car moves out. No offense. Just saying.308f1a26-1dc0-4581-bad0-f89981aa4c10_zps98c9010b.jpg

Yesterday not trying I pulled an old supersport street bike trick to pull a wheely. I tapped the brakes throwing the weight of the truck forward, but then decided instead of stopping and waiting for traffic I got in the gas pretty hard to merge. I could feel the front end of the truck get light. Tapping the brake with some good RPM on my GSXR would pull the front tire right up, especially in first gear. That thing was a beast. I never rode an 1000 because I knew I'd have to have one.
