Hey guys have a 17 1500 tradesmen. Not really looking at going to duals. If anyone is running a single exit exhaust what muffler did you go with. And how does it sound? Was looking into flowmasters

I ran a 18" Magnaflow out the stock location and removed the resonator. I love the way it sounds when you get on it, but there is no drone on the highway

Anything single in single out should be ok. Just have to get it welded in at that point. I'm kinda curious if anyone with a single has run a carven or other straight through type like magnaflow muffler

I have the Mufflex DODS14 on my truck. The 14" Magnaflow muffler sounds great I think.

I was looking into the American thunder kit flowmaster has. Along with the mufflex kits. The DODS14 sounds good from what I can tell. Not a lot of good videos on YouTube for it.

I have the mufflex 18 with resonators on (single in/out). Sounds good when stepping on it but doesn't bug the neighbors when I warm up in the winter.
I do get some minor drone when mds is on and around the 1800-2200 rpm range. Doesn't bug me so I ignore it, but it's easy to 'fix' by just manually shifting to 6th

Single OEM tail pipe and resonator with a welded in Carven Progressive sounds absolutely perfect, had it for over a year
Very, Very slight drone around 1100-1200rpms
Easily the best muffler I've had installed

Drone doesn't bother me. I would delete the factory resonator and just run a muffler. Just need to figure out which one lol

My current setup is JBA Shorties, Magnaflow Y-pipe fix, 3" Thrush Rattler, Dumped before rear axle.

I'll get a video and post it this morning for you. :)
