Slight gear grinding noise from Park to Drive or Reverse

So I sometimes hear this weird gear grind noise when I shift from Park to Drive or Reverse. Doesnt do it all the time. Is that normal or something that needs to be fixed? Any ideas?

Oh good. Probably normal. My Jeep used to clunk when I put it in gear. Found out that was normal. 14 years of clunk and never broke. Different trucks make different noises. Like I thought the Hemi motor made a lot of lifter noise until I heard about the Hemi tick.

Mine does same thing... I was wondering if it was normal and was hoping someone else had issue to help resolve problem.

ahhh the infamous Jeep clunk. hahaha.

but yea my ram does the same thing
