I went the track last night. 2016 Ram R/T w/ Jay Greene custom Diablo tune, S&B intake w/ filter pulled, Moes tb, 180* t-stat & clutch fan delete. Ran a best of 13.001 @ 104 on the 22's. I'm happy. I will probably get a set of adjustable QA1 rear shocks, pull a lil weight & go back soon. I'm very happy w/ the truck. It is running the same as my old red 04 hemi. It ran a 12.98 on motor w/ full bolt ons, 268 cam, edge 3000 tc, 4.56's & drag radials. The new truck w/ minor stuff on 22's is running what took me alot of work to run in the red truck. The red truck was also stripped to run that & the new truck is full weight plus about a 100 lbs on 22's

Wow, excellent man. Stock tires? How do you get out of the hole without blowing the tires apart?

Yea stock Goodyear 22's. I'm having to roll into the throtte. If I floor it(which I tried last night) off the line it will just sit & spin. I can definitely see how people have been cutting low 1.7 60' on drag radials w/ the stock 8 speed converter. 1st gear is just nuts in these trucks

The 22s are in fact a negligible difference in weight compared to the stock 20s because they are forged. Still an impressive run for so little and on full weight.

Yea they only weigh 77 lbs wheel & tire which isnt bad at all. The only disadvantage is the shorter sidewall tire.

again sir very impressive. If I ran the truck I start with an immediate issue, altitude which is roughly 3500 ft above. I love your choice in muffler selection :favorites13:

Yea I had an 04 reg cab w/ Hemifever tune, Comp 268 cam, Edge 3000 tc, 4.56's & locker, full bolt ons, 17" track rims w/ drag radials & weight reduction & it ran a best if 12.98 on motor & 11.91 on a 125 shot. This new R/T is impressive to say the least. W/ minor mods, full weight on 22" street tires it is running what my old red truck ran w/ a ton of work & weight pulled. These 8 speeds are a game changer.

Yeah that is true. Did you lower the pressure any?

Nope I'm having to leave about 36 lbs in them to minimize the rear sway. W/ the 2/4 springs on stock shocks its swaying pretty bad at around 95 mph under full throttle. When I have tried to drop the tire pressure b/w 25-30 psi for the track the sway gets much worse. W/ normal psi it doesnt sway as bad. I'm going to get a set of QA1's for the rear. I need shocks anyway since I'm lowered & it will help steady the rear on the track. I would buy the Illicit Custom no cut brackets but until I hear feedback from a few people who have installed them I'm going to hold out. In theory they should work great but the few people that have installed them so far are keeping pretty quiet so until then shocks it is I guess

I have a soft spot for the 2wd, short bed configurstion. Dodge Challenger with a bed on back. I prefer 20s instead of 22s, but that being nit picky.

Have you ever weighed it? I bet it's tough to keep it from spinning.

Nice job, Gary. Good looking truck!
