They still fire separately I believe. Still for emissions but it's also important for the motor because of the timing on the ignition.

to your question, you should replace all your plugs, and very important for your year, get the right Hemi plugs for the 5.7 year specific. You will not want to use the 100k plugs, you are literally forced into a box, just get the 30k plugs. Look into Dielectric Tune-Up Grease and anti sieze, depending on how hard your removal of plugs go. If you can't find your specific plugs, you can get them at Moes.

06-up do fire both plugs at the same time via one coil per cylinder and no plug wires. The older system did fire a plug on the opposite side during the exhaust stroke to guarantee all gases were burnt.

The 4.7L fires an intake and exhaust plug via separate coils as well, but we don't know anything about how spark plugs or coils work.

I agree with all that suggest changing all plugs, not just the one bank.

Seems to me OP has a simple question & (possibly) slightly confused - - which I don't see a problem with. Maybe even applying 4.7 info to his 5.7. I donno, taking guesses... The hemi uses a waste spark setup & has done so since 03. The 06 update eliminated the separate plug wires in favor of full on coil packs. On the 03 - 05 hemi, there was one coil on one plug with an old school plug wire going from that same coil to another plug on the opposite bank. Now it's all coils, no separate wires (eliminating a wearable part) while using the same concept of operation. Maybe B&C should Google waste spark & make themselves smarter before calling someone else stupid...

Kind of anticipating retaliation so I can post tech connect info

I would do both. The two plugs are more efficient, and with the larger bore, the two will help quick even combustion.

I've done many hemi plug changes and all 16 are generally evenly worn.

Not sure if I saw it in this thread, but what year did they switch over to 100k plugs?

2013 is the year the plugs were switched to 100000 mile plugs. Some early MY 2013 trucks came with the 30000 mile plugs.

My 2013 was born June 2013 and my owners manual calls for plug change every 30k. I wonder if there is a VIN cutoff number for 30k vs 100k plugs? As i type this im looking at the 300 cuts on my hands from a plug change I did the other day.
