Suggestions on increasing performance

I purchased from Jay with tune emailed in minutes! Jay assisted along with providing me with very useful knowledge. The Tune was awesome!

I posted back to the Ramforum Z how great his tune and services were. I was corrected by you in a heart beat I could not Promote or refer Jay since he was not a VENDOR. I posted back in open post any one should be allowed to post results experienced with or with out a vendor. Soon after that post I found I could no longer post on the RamforumZ any longer. Your exactly correct when you say you do not moderate,but you had the owner of the site GT do it.

So as read only member (who donated by the way) I was permitted to buy and donate with my money ,but make no comments. That is not a forum I want to be a part of. I found this one which you and GT ran me to. This so far seems to be a great site. Its not censored of any ones opinion or great services we run into to help each other. They take donations too.

So offend me you did not. Provide bad Customer skills you did well. Your just a man as I see it who wants $$$ for your service good or bad with issues or not and stop or prevent any one from offering what may be a better service with better Customer skills over yours. That leaves GT in the equation just as you. Only Vendors on his site that PAY GT will get referrals regardless of product quality or Customer skills thus stop or prevent any one who tries to on a public post. It never worked for you or GT. RamZForum Website I have no use for until rules change or GT is gone. I never bought your product as you decided to do. You should consider at some point some us may like both tunes!

Advertising is great,Expensive and can get some business. Folks in Business who treat Customers with respect and provides a good product gets the best free advertising there is! Its called word of mouth just as I found Jay in spite of Socialistic rules that attempted to prevent it at Ram Forum Z. Customers Skills and good product comes at a price of taking care of Customers.

Thanks for exposing the Z and getting me out of there. I really hope this post helps others beware! I hope it helps to allow them to enjoy what they are looking for as I was.

I like this site the best. I hardly ever go to the Z anymore too for many reasons, some of them the same as yours.

I think all the bolt on stuff is great fun to install. Every bump in HP counts be it 1 or 25 IMO

My next bump will be in the form of the SCT x4 tuner. If you have 15 or newer you can send your PCM in or buy a new one depending on your budget.
Going with this as it is what my local speed shop sells, not that it is or is not better than the other brands. he is going to throw the truck on the Dyno and set up some special sauce tunes for me along with their canned gas mileage and octane tunes.
Question, can I run the Hemifever and the Jay Green tunes on the SCT unit ? or do you need a specific tuner for those ?

BTW, people like you really got me thinking about Jay Greene for my custom tune. I've been reading a lot of great things about him and his tunes.

can anyone with exp. elaborate on the differences of the two tunes? Like how it might feel different?

Can we modify throttle response with these tunes? I'm getting at mine seems to really be inconsistent and numerous times I find myself gunning it unintentionally. Like one time I can accelerate fine then the next time after she shifts gears and drops in RPMs I have to push the pedal pretty far and then by the time it finally gives it gas again it hammers it when I am trying to accelerate softly. So turn onto a road, gas lightly from 10mph to 30mph then it shifts and as I HOLD THE SAME position with my foot I then press lightly for what seems a good bit until it gasses again but these random times it guns it.

Glad I could lend a hand. Very good guy to work with and tunes are awesome. He helps with other things too when you knowledge is very limited about the tuners in general. I got my tuner as a gift and happy. But if would have bought it myself...I would have asked Jay what he recommend as to what tuner to use. Many of us different as what the use will be. He would be the kind of guy who will share some thoughts with you.

Not sure about SCT Tuner but you could on the Trinity. Email Jay and ask him about the SCT he most likely knows. you could post it on here see what he says too.

Hemifever does custom tuning with SCT as well, but Jay does not.

This topic comes up every month with people comparing the 2. For anyone that has actually run both of their current tunes, you are not going to feel enough of a difference between the 2 to say 1 is hands down better than the next. Hemifever has more record 1/4 mile time slips under his belt, but there are plenty of guys running Jay's tuning as well that are very happy with it.

So if its hands down the same with no real street difference why do you add the last sentence of your statement if we might ask? At an educated guess 98% of us with tunes from any source will not be running 1/4 mile drag racing. Would it be because Moe's sells hemi-fever tunes only?

I searched your id on ramforumz and see what the original issue with me was. You attempted to purchase a tune 4 times. All 4 attempts failed and no order ever completed on my site. You had multiple pending charges on ur card and didn't believe me when I said an order never completed. I don't doubt you attempted to purchase a tune. But whatever process you were going through was failing at the point of your funds verification. You refused to use paypal when I was working on alternative payment options for you. Apparently working with you on alternative payment methods was poor service. I even manually created orders on my site for you that you still were unable to complete payment on. More poor service on my part apparently.

I never got an order from you. I never processed your payment. I never took your money. Your call to the bank was to drop off pending charges, not processed charges. If the charges had processed you would have had to go through the proof that funds were removed and you didn't get your product. Signed copies of the false charges would have come to me with a chance to dispute. This is a 30 to 90 day process. Since that never occured you should realize that funds were never removed from your account and I'm not lying when I tell you I did not get an order or process your payment.

The reason your posts get deleted on the forums is because you are falsifying information and making claims against me that never took place. The fact you were unable to make an order on my site is not my fault, I was not a thief, and despite me trying to help you all I got was bad mouthed. And the same will happen here on this forum I imagine.

I never said their tunes were the same. I said you would not feel enough of a difference on the butt dyno to claim 1 to be better than the other. Butt dyno's are all about opinions, time slips are about facts.

I'll just say that as a former moderator of the Z you wouldn't believe what we had to moderate according to Clay (GT). Sean has no say over what gets moderated over there except in his specific vendor forum but he does pay to be a supporting vendor which is required to advertise on any forum site; Jay has never done this on any of the forums and why on the Z everything about him gets deleted. Clay (GT) is an absolute **** when it comes to things like that and he doesn't want to help the community, only those who are paying him. There are only a few people in this world I'd stab in the throat with a rusty spoon and Clay is on the short list. Jay has gotten himself in trouble on multiple forums because he was not a supporting vendor and refuses to do so but he does have a strong following of satisfied customers, just like Sean.

Just as an example of what gets pulled, anything involving Jeremy from Retroshop gets pulled down even though he's been the pioneer for headlight upgrades on the trucks and is the guru of all things lighting related; just don't talk about him on the Z or you get yourself in trouble.

I'll leave the rest of the dispute about funds between you and Sean. I'm just glad that once again we've had a performance thread turn into a Sean vs Jay **** flinging contest. The circle will be complete when sic and dub join in.

Dodgetalk had some **** moderators at the time too.

Sean and Jay are BOTH good guys. BOTH know their stuff and are very willing to help. Sean tuned my 04 hemi YEARS ago w/ SCT and I was happy. Im either going to get Sean or Jay's tune or both on my new truck. It really doesnt matter because both guys can only do so much. They arent going to turn your 5000+ lb truck into a vette by a tune but I know both will do their best to help you. There is only so much that a tune can do.
