Cold start idle this am 1100 RPM oil pressure 59 @ 41 degrees. No tick.

Found this. On google images so i screen shot it. I don’t understand what the “fs” is but i could not find anything on redlines website so I assume this is our “blue lable” stuff. Bunt im not 100% sure on that.

Looks good, when are you going full 5w40? I'd bet good money your truck will be quietest on that oil.

Not in a hurry right now as I’m on a winning streak with my cold start tic.
Ill probably order it this week and do the change after I return my 15 gallons of used oil [emoji23]. Iv got no more room for used oil.

Here is warm idle in park. Redline 0w40 if you are checking my oil pressure. I’m gonna go with a guess of 650 to 700. It’s definitely not 600 and definitely not higher than 700.

The #s on that Redline 5W-40 looks Awesome !!! Strong TBN , and phosphorus, Zinc & Molybdenum ppms look fantastic .
If the viscosity was 13.5 - 14 I'd run it in my 5.7L ... With those phosphorus & Zinc ppms I'd say this oil would be a great oil to mix with RL 20 or 30 wt in a 5.7L tic or no tic [emoji1303]

Forgot to snap a pic, but my hot idle (Around 550) was at 41 PSI after about an hour on the road yesterday. That's with the current "leftovers" fill which is PUP 0W40, RL 0W40, and like half a quart of I forget which 5W30. I knew it would be a short OCI (Still wrapping up my move/house selling adventure) since I've been making a lot of 150+ mi round trips in the last two months and I needed to use up all those leftover spare quarts/partials. Since the 5.7's been running so well on the 0W40 amalgamation I'm tempted to just go with straight RL 0W40 next change or try the 6.4 on RL 5W40 and spread the rest of my RL 0W40 out mixed with RL 5W30 over the next few 5.7 changes.

15* here this morning, cold start it went up to 1300 rpm then settled at 1000. Hot idle rpm is around 640 with my tuning. Truck sat since Sunday morning and no ticking on a 15* cold start

Yeah no kidding. I can't remember a Thanksgiving it was this cold. Usually its around 50 here...

Im in CT and we're just about as cold. Only for today and tomorrow, though. It was 45-ish yesterday and will be about the same on Saturday, but today and tomorrow we'll see mid-20s as the high.

Idk what’s wrong with my old girl, she does not have a high idle on cold starts, it goes right to 675 as per my autel mx808. I’ve searched n searched with no answer as to why it won’t idle up on cold starts. Every other vehicle I’ve owned does but not this one. I’m stumped.
