For those with a 2010-2012 5.7, MDS ?

I see that several people have suggested how to temporarily turn it off. Is there a tuner device that people are using to turn this feature off entirely on a six speed model ? Forgive if this has been answered several hundred times already.

I used a trinity t-1000 to turn it off
does feel a lot better with all 8 available all the time

Yeah, there a device.... It's called the "Tow/Haul" button on your dash.

Didn't you get an owners manual?

I put mine in 6th gear and it turns it off.

Makes sense.

I only every notice mine come on when I'm doin like 25-30 in my neighborhood.
Guess it doesn't really bother me.

All Diablo, Superchips, and Bullydog tuners allow you to disable MDS permanently.

you mean you press - on the shift column? when I do that it drops mine into 5, but I've seen others say they drop to 6. is there a difference between year models
