So I should probably know this but oh well. Re-coated my jba headers with better ceramic coating and I bought mopar gaskets with stage 8 bolts.

Question is, are you guys still using the weird oil stick bolt with these? If not are you just letting it hang there? I dont really want to have stage 8 bolts on every spot except for that one spot.

I was using that with the bolts that came with the headers and had no leaks but i just want to make sure.

i left mine hanging there its been over a year and no issues. fyi stage 8's can rattle causing false knock after a while so keep that in mind .

not realy any other options tha i know of. mine rattled after a while so i used the bolts that came with my JBA's with lock washers and had no issues. 1 trick is you can put some high heat silicone on the C clip and it will fix it but it makes it 3 times harder to get the clips off

you get good reviews and bad with eveything . you just have to make up your own mind. i myself had issues with the stage 8's and seen alot of people say what i said and some say they had no issue and mine rattled just like i was told they would now as for the supplied bolts with the headers i also read they were junk and some said they had no issue and i had no issue. as for the stage 8 bolts im just saying dont be surprised if they start to rattle over time.

thanks guys. I've heard people run the stage 8s without the retainers on anyway and they are just fine. We will see if mine rattle and annoy me, if they do ill either silicone them or take off the retainers.

you might not hear the rattle. what will happen is you will feel like you have lost some power and it will be pulling timing cause the knock sensors will be picking up the rattle. the sensors are right under the headers so it picks it up realy easy

I'm sure ARP has some bolts for the exhaust manifolds or studs/nuts. I'll contact them.
