Hello
I have a 2013 1500 sport 4x4 hemi with the 6 speed auto.

I'm wondering if anyone had used the moes performance 87mm ported throttle body on their trucks?
Happy with it? Does to make a difference?
Does it increase mpg?

I drive in the city 95% of the time and a lot of short trips as work is only 7 miles round trip so I realize that doesn't help.
But my current mpg in the winter is terrible at 10 mpg
In the summer I get 12-13 in the city.
I need to figure something out to increase my mpg because I'm thinking that is extremely bad compared to what others are getting. Any tips on mpg would be appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance.
(Ps I drive like an old man on sunday all the time)

It won't make a difference to a stock truck. It's not gonna gain you mpg. I don't know what 6 speeds usually average but my 8 speed does 17-18 in town 21-22 highway

Would a tuner be my best bet for mpg then?

I'm just going by the trucks computer for mpg. I haven't figured it out myself yet.

The throttle body isn't going to show any measurable increase or decrease in mileage. I would go with the tuner as it will show better power and mileage gains than any other mod.

Other than keeping your foot off the skinny pedal, or driving only downhill, there aren't many bolt-on mods that can improve MPG--your truck has the aerodynamic properties of a brick.

Bolt-ons may, and tuning will, increase performance, but that will probably burn more gas rather than save any. :burnout:
