Hey guys and gals. New to this forum specifically. Looking for a bit of help. Quick mod list before i get started
2014 ram 1500 5.7 sport
4" zone lift
Ride rite coil air bags in rear
20x12 visions
Whitebear fabrication kickbacks
35x12.5x20
ADD stealth front bumper
Airaid t/b spacer
Afe intake
Diablo t1000
Jones flowpack muffler
MANY led's and lights

Anyways. A little back story. The t case in these trucks with the auto function is crap. I wrecked a clutch in the winter time (had the truck in "4 lock"). Got it replaced under warranty then the next day wrecked it again. Left it, cause im an hour from the dealer, for a bit until beggining of this summer i developed a rattle noise. It is under the truck in 2wd when rpms are under 1500 and give it slight throttle. Doesnt do it any other time and Its gone in 4wd. So i take it into the dealer and leave it for a week. They end up ordering a whole t case for it. So i pick it up and wait. It shows up in a week and i drop it off again overnight. Pick it up the next day and she still has a rattle but not as bad. Ive ****** with every heat sheild and **** underneath. Any ideas? I dont wanna take it back cause its an hour away and i gotta take 2 vehicles every time to get picked up and it sounds like if i got back again they will most likely start to blame the mods. Its been into the dealer for a bunch of other little **** too when i first got it.

Thanks.

Don't know if you checked the u clamp where the y pipe meets the mid pipe going in to your muffler. I had a rattle on my 09 and it drove me nuts. Here it was the u clamp wasn't tight enough and the two pipes were rattling inside one another. It only did it in low rpm range.

^ agreed my '12 did the same thing. My rattle was not very noticeable. I thought my dual tips where sticking out a bit much and started to look around under the truck. Shook the pipe and rattle rattle rattle. loose u-bolt. Pulled the exhaust towrds the front of the truck and tightened the u-bolt and all fixed.

Mine sounds like its rattling or slightly pinging at low rpms. Its the MDS because if I turn it off then it stops.

Ive tried turning mds on and off made no difference. The noise is only gone in 4wd which is why im thinking its somethin in the front diff possibly or the front driveshaft.

Shes fixed. Got er back from the dealer. The metal dust boot on the lh cv axle where it goes into the axle was causing it. Theu did end up blaming the lift cause of the axles being on different angles so i did have to pay for hour labour. They took the dust cover right off and left it off saying it will be fine.
