Very Frustrated need help with magnaflow!!!

i bought a 12198 14 inch magnaflow....went to the local muffler shop for install.they are saying it wont work cause it will throw out the duals in the back...

not sure what i should do here. i paid 130 for the muffler.and the closest custom shop is a hour drive...which will probaly charge me 100-150 to cutomize it on.

ive been reading about the DOD14M..i was interested in the M80 but think it will be too loud.

do they really just bolt up to mod needed.

where can i get them shipped to canada right away!!!!!

The universal Magnaflow muffler you bought will need to be welded on, and the pipes offset just a bit to make the tips line up properly. Any decent exhaust shop should be able to do this. If you want a bolt on kit, then we have the 14" Mufflex kits in stock. Can ship for you tomorrow.

If they say they cant do a simple install like this you should stay away from them anyway.

is the M80 a lot louder then the 14M?

That muffler is 2 1/2 outlets and the stock rear tail pipes are 2 1/4 so they would have to adapt it down. I took a mbrp 3 in and daul 2 1/4 out and welded 12 inches of pipe to the front of it and 2 hangers , then it bolted right in just took some time to adjust the tail pipes

you guys figure the 14 inch magnaflow will be louder with the factory duals and 8 speed.?? with 3.21 gears...if that even matters

then my last truck was single exhaust and 6 speed with 3.55

Well Just ordered the DOD14M From Moes..well post pics and clips when installed.

Ditto. Mine is the 22", but they're all shorter than stock and have the same outlet sizes. Done in the driveway on ramps, took about 3 hours to get'er right. NO problems.

Matt the man! I have the 18" maggie I really like it, sounds better with the resonator removed and longer tips.

Find another shops. These goons are either lazy, dishonests or CLUELESS.

When someone is this wrong I tend to suspect dishonest and looking to pick your pocket for their crappy custom mashed-up aluminized tubing. Just say'n.
