Wanting a new exhaust

I have a 2013 Dodge Ram
1500 with a 5.7 hemi it has the muffler cut
Off and a piece of y pipe and I'm wanting to put a new exhaust and make it sound better what would u suggest

I have the Carven Progressive exhaust system, its a simple bolt on muffler.
Loud but not straight pipe loud by anymeans, gives a low deep rumble and just sounds mean.

I would suggest a Borla or a Corsa exhaust system.

Muffler cut-out, or muffler taken off the vehicle?

If you have a cut-out that's straight pipe loud when open.
If you deleted your muffler, you aren't going to find much louder.

When you say sound better, are you are trying to tone it down or make it louder?

So you have an exhaust cut-out, but you want louder still?

That's essentially the same sound as straight pipes.

Not sure where you'd go from there, except not having many friends, having your neighbors hate you and the Po-po on your case constantly.

All they done was take the muffler off and put a piece of pipe in it place and then it has exhaust all the way out the back
