Ask a vague question, you can expect a few dumb answers. What kind of event? Drag race? Car show? Off road competition?

Why are you trying to cut weight. And what exactly is the truck. Is it a 1500 with a 2500 front clip conversion? Is it 4x4 if it is do you need the 4x4? Need you to offer up as much info as possible about the truck and what you are looking to do with it. Is this a one time deal? Or is the truck going to be used solely for this “ event” going forward?
Need more info bud.

I'm guessing this is for Kyles event, read his weight reduction prep on NaDodge. One thing nobody mentions is a good wax and polish job a couple days before hand,it's easier to push a clean freshly polished vehicle through the air.

Remove all windows and the windshield. Passenger seat, rear seat if equipped. Cab liner, radio, mirrors anything not needed for whatever event you are preparing for.
