So ive been wanting to do some upgrades to my truck (2012 single cab dodge hemi 5.7). I have a 4" lift with 35s..
Im here to learn, so i'd like some input on which direction. Do i start by getting headers first, or should i get exhaust pipes or CAI?

I would put a plan together so each part works t together to achieve your goal. First step is to figure out what you are trying to accomplish. Also look into the gear and tuner. That being said, I am keeping my truck stock.

i would do gears first then a tuner with a custom tune then start the other stuff. just a gear change will be night and day difference.

Welcome to the board, headers is a great place to start. Do you have dual exhaust already?

Yes dual already, no mods tho. And how simple is when it comes to custom tuning?

Are you in a 2x4 or 4x4? I would recommend a Gear swap; I went 335 to 410 and it was $ well spent. But knowing what I do now 456 would be my choice. Everyone that has done a gear swap will tell you it was one of the best mods to date.
